Maddy and The Real Junk Food Project Shine on Impact Talks podcast

We’re delighted that Maddy Grey, chef and long-standing volunteer at The Real Junk Food Project Twickenham, joined the panel for a special Recycle Week edition of the Impact Talks podcast.

Hosted by Chloe Harman—Editor of MIMS and spokesperson for the Environment Network—the episode brings together an inspiring lineup: Pat Anderson, Editor of MIMS Learning; Charlotte Hegarty, Head of Event Operations at Wonderly; and our very own Maddy. Together, they explore the shocking truth about waste in the UK and, more importantly, the practical steps we can all take to change it.

Maddy shares insights from her hands-on experience transforming surplus food into nutritious, affordable meals for the community. Her passion for “feeding bellies, not bins” shines through as she demonstrates how simple culinary creativity can stop edible food from going to waste.
