As the weather gets warmer our volunteer jam makers are busy

In October the Linden Hall team celebrated the 100th birthday of Olive

TRJFP celebrated Christmas this season by offering traditional turkey and all the trimmings at three of our venues. Altogether Ham, the Cambrian Centre and ETNA served over 230 Christmas meals - that’s a lot of turkey, roast potatoes and brussel sprouts!

We’re thrilled that Haymarket Media Group (a leading global content business headquartered in Twickenham) has chosen TRJFP as their local charity partner for the next three years!

TRJFP couldn’t operate without the financial support of local and national grants, and we have three great updates to share this quarter.

TRJFP are very proud to have three of our volunteers nominated for the 2023 Richmond upon Thames’ Community Heroes Awards.

TRJFP are very excited to announce that we are opening a new venue at Ham Youth Centre

Visitor numbers have grown steadily over the year and now we are regularly feeding 45 people each week. The Café operates on a Pay As You Feel basis and uses surplus food donated by local supermarkets. 

We’re delighted to announce that TRJFP has been awarded a three year core grant from Richmond Parish Lands Charity (RPLC).

TRJFP volunteers have been hard at work turning surplus fruit into delicious jams and chutneys which will be sold on a ‘Pay as you feel’ basis at the local summer fairs.  

TRJFP won the Richmond upon Thames environmental community heroes awards 2022, which was announced at a celebration event on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
