If you are passionate about food waste and supporting your local community, you may want to volunteer to work for TRJFP-Twickenham.
We have a wide variety of roles including doing collections either first thing in the morning or early evening; helping to set up the café and front of house duties; cooking and kitchen help; packing down at the end of the day; delivering left over food and care packs across the borough.
We also need support with marketing, social media and website maintenance.
We are flexible around the days and hours you volunteer according to the other volunteer availability. TRJFP provide training and PPE to enable you to work in a safe environment.

The café and food surplus hubs run on a ‘Pay as you Feel’ basis which aim to cover our operational costs. We are currently incurring additional costs due to Covid-19 guidelines and always have new projects on the go. For example, we have recently taken possession of an electric bike to collect and deliver locally. This requires garaging and regular maintenance. If you would like to make a donation to support our work please use the PayPal link below; or call-in during café opening hours to make a cash or contactless donation.
