We’re thrilled that Haymarket Media Group (a leading global content business headquartered in Twickenham) has chosen TRJFP as their local charity partner for the next three years!
The team at Haymarket will be supporting us in different ways – from volunteering at our venues, to fundraising (from bake sales to marathon running), to kindly offering their facilities for events, connecting us with internal specialists to support the smooth-running of the TRJFP behind the scenes, and helping to drive awareness of who we are and what we do through their publications and business connections.
Our partnership is already off to a fabulous start. Over the Christmas period, Haymarket staff volunteered at our Christmas lunches and collected donations for guest gift bags, bought our jams and chutneys at their festive office day, purchased raffle tickets at their Christmas party, and even encouraged their own suppliers to generously donate to TRJFP. It’s been an incredible start, with over £3600 raised across the Christmas period. Huge and heartfelt thanks to everyone at Haymarket for their enthusiasm and generosity!
The ambition is that through our partnership, we will be able to fund a much needed fit-for-purpose central storage facility for TRJFP. This will really help us to store and efficiently manage the distribution of dry, chilled and frozen food donations across our different venues, ultimately helping us to provide more nutritious and warm meals to our guests across the borough.
